40 GB Pen Drive for less than 50 Bucks !

Today I would like to share with you something that I have just bought from eBay.

Flash Memory Pen drive 40 GB

Yeah. When I told my friend about it they do not believe me.
Some more I bought it for about 50 USD.
Including the shipping fees,
I pay for only 70 Euro.

Here’s the Bebe that I have bought.

Some people say it is just a portable HHD being labeled as pen drive.
In my opinion even if it is a HHD,
Buying this 40GB bebe for the price of 50 bucks is really worth it.
Besides, it has flash memory.

Consider its size,
A 5 inch long, 3 inch wide 40GB pen drive is fine for me as it is convenient for me to carry it.
It can be my cute external Hard disk. Yeah !

The seller is an eBay power seller and this guy ships his stuffs worldwide.

Before I pay him this bebe, I have sent him a message asking him to send me one confirmation email.
It seems this guy is pretty busy. I got his email many days later.
After paying him (via PayPal)
This seller sent another email to me, confirming the shipping process.
Now I am waiting for my bebe. It hasn’t arrived yet.
I am keeping my fingers crossed. hehe.

*Note : It is a safety precaution to wait for the confirmation email before you pay anything.

  2. Since it has USB port it is quite possible.
    I am not sure for now but when I get this bebe I shall let you know. Be patient ah :=)

  3. What is your BIG deal to shout about? 70 EURO at the latest conversion rate is RM319 right?

    A 40G Notebook Hard disk can be had for RM260 (Computer War,Low Yat Plaza and elsewhere) plus that USB 2.0 External Aluminium Box is RM30.

    Add them up and is ONLY RM290.00 + -!

    So you had been swindled!!!!!

  4. Some things can be bought cheap in Malaysia but as a student who stay in Germany, 70 Euro is considered very cheap and the quality is good. with 70 euro one can only get one 526 MB pen drive.

    you can go for that pen drive sold at one buck :D

    I try my best to share my wonderful findings and shopping experience with you guys.
    I might miss out something where you might get cheaper stuffs in Malaysia but it is still interesting to wonder into the interesting world of online shopping.

    There are tips and tricks of buying stuffs online.
    For example I have seen sports car being sold for 1 USD on eBay but there are many things we have to consider before buying.

    Besides buying stuffs online,
    Window shopping can be fun….

    I shall introduce more interesting stuffs like normal knife being sold for 2000 USD and haunted dolls being bidded like hot cakes.

  7. Ai yoh mahal lah . I bought something like mwt said in Malaysia have been using it for 2 yrs already.At that time I think i paid 30gb HD RM350, casing RM80. that was 2 yrs ago. So always check it out in malaysia 1st can always get cheaper thing here.

  8. thquah, sounds like your capacity is lower and the total price is more expensive than 50 bucks. Can you tell us the dimension of the HHD? and how is the quality.

  9. it is a laptop harddrive in a casing…..laptop hard drive varies in speed there is 4400 rpm 5200 rpm and 7800 rpm…..and it will not be able to take much impact like a usb thumb drive.

  10. yup dude.. it’s expensive, even in germany. It’s a notebook hdd anyway, plus the casing. if is low speed 40GB hdd, will be even cheaper. I guess you can file a complain to eBay. Surely they will take action, since flash disk and harddisk is a very different breed ;)
