Let’s Begin

Alright people.
There are two popular places where you can do online shopping :

1) eBay
eBay

2) Amazon

eBay is a place where you can buy things from buyers all over the world.
One thing cool about eBay is,
you can buy things at auction price,
that means you can buy good things at very low price.
Don’t worry because many “cheap” things are of very good quality.

Amazon is a cool place if you wish to buy proper books or software.

I shall talk about these 2 online places later.

For now you need to know how to pay for the stuffs that you buy online.
There are many payment methods such as online transaction or credit card
but the most convenient way of paying online is via Paypal.

One important question :
Why is PayPal so Cool?

1)
Paypal is easy to use. When you buy stuffs from a seller from other country,
paypal automatically converts the currency accurately.
For example,
if your paypal account has 300 euro.
when you buy a bike from an American seller,
paypal will let you know how much you need to pay in USD.
you do not need to worry about currency conversion.

If you still want to know about currency conversion,
I recommend you to check http://www.xe.com

2)
when you pay with your paypal,
all you need to do is pay with your E-mail

On eBay you just need to type in your email and password to complete the transaction.
That’s super easy. The whole transaction process is very smooth and fast.

New to PayPal?

First of all,
go to http://www.paypal.com
and create one account for yourself with your email address.
After that click ADD FUNDS so that you can start to transfer money into your paypal account.
it will let you know the PayPal bank account in your country so that you can transfer your money.

For me, I am staying in Germany.
So I have to transfer my money to

Name on Account: PayPal International Ltd
PayPal’s Account Number: 6161604670
BLZ: 501 108 00
Bank: JP Morgan

I just need to log on to my Deutsche Bank account and complete the transaction.
No handling cost is charged.

After that I need to wait for a few days before my money is transferred to my PayPal account.

That is all for paypal. Let’s start to shop online !

  2. PayPal sucks big time. They just suspended my verified account with a general reason. When I emailed them to ask why I got no reply.

Another thing that sucked is that you can’t withdraw money from PayPal to Malaysian local bank.

  3. I believe paypal still has room for improvement.
It is quite new in Malaysia.
I transfer money directly from my Deutsche Bank account.

Usually I only transfer money to my paypal when I need to buy things. Don’t put all eggs in one basket (paypal)
transfer money only when you need to use it.
